Hello my dear friends, I hope you are all fine and you enjoy His presence. A lot of things happened since you left, but thanks to the Lord, He controls everything. First of all, I want to tell what happened while you were here. Even though there passed one month since you left, we still think about what happened while you were here. There are so many things that I really don’t know where to start. For us, every little thing that we did for spreading the Heavenly kingdom in Prokuplje is important and big, but if I would write about all the little things, then it would take too much time to read.
This year, like all others before, we were impatient in waiting for the moment when we will be together with our brothers and sisters from America, because we know that then we have very blessed and special moments. We are always happy about this part of the year because we know that then together we can do big things for the progress of God’s work in this part of our country.
First, the coming of Cait and Bethany.
We are very happy and proud that we could see how Cait and Bethany are now spiritually grown and how they, with their whole heart, participate and give themselves generously in serving our people in this part of Serbia.
Since Caca and I couldn’t prepare all things because of my troubles with health, Cait and Bethany had a lot to do by themselves. They did almost all by their own. We told them our plan and they realized it. They prepared all that we needed for our children’s week that we had in Zitni Potok village. Materials, lessons, verses, badges with names of kids, different lists, diplomas, awards, refreshments for kids, practical things for children games and a lot more.
Besides that, we had also visits, lectures about discipleship where Cait had the chance to introduce us and to prepare us, on very nice and simple way, for subject “Multiply” that we continued to work with rest of the team.
Also I would like to point out one important thing, and that is that Cait and Bethany had opportunity to be part of one new beginning – the first time we visited Pirot, and both of them were with us in that visit. There they introduced themselves and in a very wise and polite way they said to those people the reason of their visit to Serbia, and to the rest of us they showed practically all that they talked about at the Multiply training in our church and that is discipleship – Christ witnesses. Our plan is that in future we find man of peace in that Roma mahala and with God’s grace start house group in Pirot.
As days were passing until the arriving of the rest of the team in Prokuplje, we were more happy. We were especially happy because we met such nice people as Chuck and Janice, they are real blessing and we are really encouraged by their visit and fellowship. They are people who really have a heart for the Lord.
The week afterward was full of different activities and happenings. Children’s club in Prokuplje, Multiply training in church, visits, baptism, evangelism, visit to Pirot. All of these are ways and opportunities where we could feel God’s goodness and His leadership.
We received so much from you, spiritually and materially and we are really thankful to our Lord for bringing you in our life. Thank you for all that you did and gave to us. Thank you for your sincere love. Thank you for having willingness to teach us to grow in Christ’s love. Your works and your lives, you alone are example and encouragement for all of us. Thank you for your hearts which have a place for us.
Specially we want to thank to our brother Joe who sent us the guitar. This move says a lot about the man who blessed us with this instrument. Dear brother, even though you haven’t met us, you were ready to send us such a good guitar. Thank you for such a big sacrifice of giving. Now, we will celebrate and adore our Lord with much better sounds of guitar. Whole church is happy because we’ve got guitar, that is really big thing for us. We had a chance to use it during the evangelism in Prokuplje. That is a real blessing to us. Thank you from the heart. Dear brother, let Lord bless you and give you all that you need.
We maybe will never be able to give you back what you did for us, but know that we love you so much and in you we see truly and sincere Jesus followers which are our examples. I believe that God taught us through a lot of things and changed our character.
Through all practical services, missionary work and through life and fellowship that we had with each other, the Lord taught us, changed us and showed us how we have different opportunities/chances that wherever we go we can carry and show the love of God and his beauty which reflects through us.
Thanks to Lord who has chosen us to be holders of His beauty and love for all our people.
