We are thankful to God for last year, and every blessing we received from His hand. We are also thankful for new friendships which He gave to us, and new places which we could go for Christ.
The Lord lead us this year in a weird way, but that is also the best way because it comes from Him. We believe everything is under His will and for us is the most important to be in the center of His will. God let the flood happen, and gave us resources to help those people, but what He gave us the most, was possibility to help those people to hear about Christ and that now among them are believers, who believes with all their heart to Lord.
Mladenovac is the place where they say we are their cousins, family, social workers, advisors, we are all to them, but what is most important is that they heard about Lord Jesus Christ. After last year’s children’s evangelisation in the second part of Mladenovac we have an ordinary place where we can meet together to have meetings for parents and children. The problem that we have now in Mladenovac is that a lot of families left to Germany for asylum. But, I am grateful for those who stayed here and want to listen to Gods word. This month we succeeded to visit them only once because we are in bad situation with finance. Once, but it was worth it, we planned to stay short, but we stayed for four hours. It was a nice time spent with people in metal shacks. We had chance to testify to the father of the teenagers who went with us to camp, and to explain to them difference between Christ and Muhamed, Islam and us. It was great experience to listen to Anjur how he helps his father to understand things. In Arandjelovac we spent only a couple of hours to pick our costumes which we need for evangelisation we plan to do.
Our plans and God’s plans are not the same as 14 years ago, while we were students in Bible school. Then we started to visit Danijela’s sister who lived under the highway bridge. Our visits were usual, we went together with students from Bible school and also alone. We were aware that they needed someone who would be with them and our prayer was that the Lord send someone. Then comes Erman, and he started with work there, and our heart was full of happiness for that. We spoke the Gospel to them further and tried to live what we talk, so that them and some other cousins – which visited house church meetings moved to Zemun.
Some of our cousins went to Germany but some of them also came back. When we moved to Belgrade we told our cousins where we live so they can visit us whenever they want. So visits are good now and we are talking with them slowly and from the beginning. We don’t want to them to feel attacked. One family came from Germany and we wanted to visit them after month and a half after that. It was nice during our first visit and then they asked us if we do what we did before (telling others about God) and we said we do and we will never stop. Next question was: Can you come to our house also and teach us from the Scripture? We were happy because that is answer to our prayer. Till now we had two ordinary visits, and it was nice because there were two other families. Next meeting we plan to watch the Revelation movie, and next meeting we start with doing Acts, part by part.
Last year we were invited to have Christmas performance in Belgrade organised second Baptist church for their friends. Performance was great and they were satisfied so this year they called us again for same event, it won’t be the same as last year – in theatre, but on two places; in Children’s hospital in Belgrade, that is hospital for the children with disabilities. Second place is children’s home, for children from 7 to 17 years old. So we thought which children we can include to be part of this performance. Our idea was to call children from Zemun Polje and also children from Obrenovac, and so we made both performances. It was nice to see Elizabeta and Kristian from Obrenovac with what passion they speak to parents and other children about what is the real reason why we celebrate Christmas.
House church in Belgrade was as usual gathered every Wednesday. Every Wednesday we change place of meeting and last Wednesday we’ve been at Danijela’s mother’s house and we talked about Prayer, and we concluded that PRAYER is the key of successful Christian life. I gave a homework to all of them for next meeting to find in Acts where is prayer and write their answers. So, we are now in Acts and I am thankful to God and also to you for spending so much time on work with us, giving us what we can use in our house churches.
Plans for next month are:
Christmas evangelisation (Christmas is celebrated in January in Serbia) in: Obrenovac, Mladenovac, Belgrade and Arandjelovac. To continue further with ordinary family visits.
Prayer needs:
- We pray for Christmas evangelisations, for safety while we travel with children, costs of evangelisation (transport and food for children while we are on way)
- We pray for all costs needed for visiting families (about $ 100 monthly)
- We pray for wisdom for work with people.
- We pray to God to choose new leaders
- We pray for Milos and his family
- We pray for Bane and Jadranka
- We pray for finance for our daily life
- We pray for blessed 2015.
