The most recent delivery of knitted caps for Roma children took Linking Partners over the 1,000 hat goal we had set for the last 12-month period. With knitters from all across the United States, there are many whose handiwork will find a home in a Roma village in Serbia. At our recent Roma Leadership Conference, we distributed the latest batch of 300 hats to the regional coordinators and the church planters who work with them. We had a lot of fun with the hats, but the real excitement came from knowing the doors these hats will open for sharing the gospel with children and their parents all over Serbia!
Our friends from south Serbia modeling some of the 100 hats they received: Niki, Aleksandar, Marijan, Vlada, Slavica, David, Danijela, Pera, Dragan, and Ivan.
. . . to “Uncle” (Dragan), Slobodan, Mirko, and Saša who plant churches in northern Serbia — 100 more hats!
Knitted with love and prayers by Sara . . . .
. . . and shared, along with the gospel, with Roma children in central Serbia by Velibor, Dalibor, Miloš, Dragan, and Danijela — 100 hats, 100 chances to share God’s love!
For everyone who has donated toward yarn or knitted, crocheted, or loomed hats — God bless you!
