No rest! We left the conference center, returned to Prokuplje, and met city leaders to look at a potential site for a community center to be used for tutoring elementary children, English club, and community celebrations. The governor had an idea of one house that was given to the city by the owner, and is currently vacant. We took a look at it. A lot of work needs to be done, and it will depend on what kind of arrangement we can work out with the city. However it works out, it is promising that the governor and city officials are positive about helping us find a site that meets our needs, as the current church building is filled to overflowing.
Home church in Jasenica. We had a song, the children recited a Bible verse and the Lord’s prayer, we shared from the Bible with the adults, then distributed hats to the children. They were so excited! It is such a blessing to give a gift that is so appreciated. If you didn’t get in on this project, watch for the next one! You don’t want to miss the blessing!
