Bethany Jaques and Caitlin Oswalt
First Mission Field: Novi Sad and Kucura (Northern Serbia)

After a day of rest, Bethany and Caitlin will be working with Sasa Subotin, a Roma pastor, in the town of Kucura. They are holding a 3-day English camp for kids, and are expecting 100 children to attend.
Second Mission Field – Prokuplje (Southern Serbia)
June 26- July 7
June 30-July 4 — 4-day Kids’ Camp in Prokuplje plus a Field Day
July 5-7 – Kids’ Camp in villages (Jasenica, Zitni Potok, Dubovo)
Evenings – teach Multiply lessons and/or visit in homes
In south Serbia, Caitlin and Bethany will be working alongside Roma Pastor Marijan and his wife Slavica. They will be holding Kids’ Camps in the mornings, teaching from 1 Samuel 1-3. In the afternoons, they will visit in the homes and home churches, sharing fellowship and prayer with the Roma. Evenings will be spent with leaders who are learning discipleship, using the Multiply materials developed by Francis Chan and David Platt.
Third Mission Field – Belgrade and Arandjelovac (Central Serbia)
July 8-19
Here, the girls will be partnering with Roma Pastor Dragan and his wife Danijela. They will hold Kids’ Camps in the mornings, and conduct home visits and discipleship trainings in the afternoon and evenings.
The area around Belgrade was hardest hit by the recent floods. In Mladenovac they will be visiting a Roma mahala (neighborhood) made up of storage containers. The people there were moved from an encampment under a bridge in Belgrade a couple of years ago. The containers flooded, so these people have lost everything for a second time.
Pray that the children will be attentive and receptive to the teaching, and to the reason we are in Serbia – to demonstrate the love of Christ. Pray that the believers who are discipling others will find the Multiply materials helpful in their work. Pray that Caitlin and Bethany will settle in quickly. Thank God for our partners in Serbia, Rodja and Natasha, Sasa and Danijela, Marijan and Slavica, and Dragan and Danijela.
I am very proud of both of these girls. But especially my Sweet Granddaughter Bethany Faith!! She’s never been afraid of speaking her mind about what matters most to her. Alot like her Momma (and maybe her Granny too). I am very greatful to Caitlin for watching out for my baby girl!!!
