Greetings in Jesus name.
This month God worked a lot with us, so He shaped us and lead us from situation to situation, and I can tell you powerful how great is God. Reason why I tell you this, is that on the beginning of the month we summed up our summer and we saw how much great things God did. September we spent in Belgrade without going to Arandjelovac so we didn’t have any children meeting in Arandjelovac. We pray for finance which we need for travelling costs so we can travel more and visit people and children, just as in Arandjelovac also in Vladimirovac. September we spent in Belgrade visiting doctors.
“We praise Lord with all who we are and what we have” – this was the theme for me this month and also motivation which I wanted to share with others. I know that all of us are in hard situation, Danijel, Nesa and also we. Idea is that some people are faithful to God only when everything is good but in time of hard life and troubles they turn their face to material things.
We received a lot of blessings in having and also in not having, but God is faithful and righteous and He gives all in right time. We were encouraged when we heard from people from Mladenovac, which was flooded again, that they praised the Lord for saved lifes and now they say that God never owe to anybody and that He will make it all up. We could also be together with them and share help which we got for them. In that I saw that God gives everything in right time.
It was so interesting to see people that we visit, doing their best to explain others how to ask for help, who are we and what is our mission. We visited Mladenovac two times, and both time we used hall which we used before for our reunions. But, what is very good was that people said whenever we want to come, just to inform them at least two days before so they can bring all out from their barracks, and welcome us in their houses so we can have service even if there is hundred people.
It is big encouraging for us that they call us by themselves and ask from us to pray for them and their needs.
We pray for Mladenovac for possibility in future to rent some house where we can have regularly meetings.
In Belgrade we have regularly meetings with our group – church. We were surprised when one couple from Mirijevo, was on one service and second time they brought their mother. We started to visit people who live in Zemun polje and they are Danijela’s relatives. We pray for better contact with them. Last Wednesday they were in church on service and they were encouraged. They want to go with us at conference 5th October in Backi Petrobac, organised by our church. We plan to rent big bus for 20 people so we can all go and celebrate all what God does for us. We pray for needs for that trip. Joyful news is that we will have baptising at 12th October. We will baptise Sabrina, Danijel’s wife. We pray for organising and all what we need for it. You are welcome on baptising.
It was hard this month to spent time and money to go to Obrenovac. But we are so positive for them, they were Wednesday on service in our church for the first time. There were two families.
We plan that in following month we have more visits to Obrenovac and also to some other places where we started with work. We shared school supplies which we’ve got from our friends from England, as much as we could to give to every child.
At this moment we are on seminar about work with Muslims, and we are already encouraged and we learned already good things – principles. This will help us to grow in work with them, and so we can understand them better.
Prayer needs
- We pray for Mladenovac, for possibility to rent some house.
- We pray for Belgrade, new estates and that in already settled places share word of God.
- Obrenovac for regular visits and open families
- Arandjelovac – we pray for club. 3 months that we paid had expired and we don’t have anymore. We have to pay next 6 months + electricity.
