The little girl with the red shoes … the rest of the story:
Last summer, we visited the village of Zitni Potok, and were captivated by a little girl who came to sing and hear Bible stories. She had on a treasured pair of red shoes. Shoes so small that the entire heel had been cut away so that she could still slide her feet into them. Those shoes, that little girl, found a place in our hearts and we told her story again and again in America.
Someone else was drawn to the little girl. One of my dear friends slipped me money to provide new shoes and clothes to the little girl, Dusica. It was enough to also provide clothes for others in her family. Here is the report of that gift:
“God be with you to help you, and you shall have all the best. Thanks to these Americans they have bought new things for Dusica- this is roughly what sounded they told us.
Despite the difficult financial situation in which live Dusica, that moment when we give clothing, is gripped by such joy in their house. Her parents were so happy that they did not know what to tell us, one word consistently said thank you, thank you, thank you. Such a feeling of joy and happiness that we see here can not be described. Our hearts were also very touched for what we saw. We feel very blessed because of our service, and day by day we see how great privilege to be a child of God. Dear Luana in them and in their name from the bottom of my heart I thank all the people who gave money and time have been done even for a moment that these people feel happy and joyful. Thank you for your love.
Almost the whole village has heard about this and I believe that this will have a positive impact on these people. What we believe and preach not just a theory, like this example and many other examples we speak to these people to faith in Christ, something that leads people to do good deeds. I can not wait next visit to this village, I believe that I have a lot to see and hear.
Two days ago we visited Zitni Potok, and we were able to meet with a girl who we bought clothes and shoes.
We also give a pair of shoes even one girl and one boy for whom we have seen that they are in need.
Mainly Dusica’s parents were very grateful for what they got their child.
Also in another family where we took the boots for little Bojana, and shoes for Alen, their parents are grateful, and since these people personally met Luana (almost the whole village knows Luana and the Three Amigos), they are much welcome Luana. We have a team of people I said that some people from the U.S.A gave money to buy them shoes, but since they have only Luana they are now grateful to her.
Once again thank you all for praying for us and you’ve got a heart that is ready to help.
Your children, friends and brothers in Jesus Christ
